However, studies conducted by Milgram (Grossman, 144) show that there are many factors that are involved in executing authoritative demand. The presence of the authoritative figure alone is not enough because there are other sub- factors that are involved in order for the operation to be a success. One of the most important factors is that the figure of authority should always be within close proximity to ensure obedience.
